Brenden and his cousins

Today we had a family reunion with some relatives from my dad's side of the family that live in and around WA. I had met many of these relatives years ago but I was too young to remember. Here are some pictures of Brenden with my second cousins, his third cousins. Annabelle is 3, almost 4 and playing in the sprinkler with him, and Joe Henry and Taylor are both almost 9 and let Brenden play and wrestle with them. We had a blast, and the boys wore Brenden out which was great...he was fast asleep within ten minutes of leaving!

Brenden got to run around in the sprinkler for the first time yesterday. It was so hot outside when we got home I decided to let him soak himself before even going into the house. His diaper was about 3 pounds by the time I got him inside the house and down the hall to the bathtub!

Brenden discovered the dirt

He loved playing in the mole hills out in the grassy area we were safely watching all the horses from at the show last weekend! He was one filthy little boy by the time we left and had to get an entire bath using baby wipes in the back of the car with an outfit change before going out to dinner in Seattle!

Brenden's first horse ride

Brenden went on his first official horse ride last Saturday and loved every minute of it. I've uploaded a couple of quick video's at the end of this for you to watch and laugh at.
